10 MWh Cogeneration plant
Faithful to our environmental responsibility, our Cogeneration Plant assures the entire thermal needs of our production plants. This way we avoid the supply of sources which are less careful with the environment.
The cogeneration plant consists of a cycle combined by two Rolls Royce natural gas engines, developing each of them a power of 5,100 KWe plus a 269 kWe condensation Dresser Rand steam turbine.
The thermal use of the cogeneration plant is aimed at producing:
- Factory steam: polyester fiber, PET sheet, PET recycling.
- Hot Water: to absorption cold group.
- Steam for use in the condensation steam turbine.
