EKOREC group is created in 2012 as a key player in Spanish circular economy. Part of our industrial equipment and background comes from the extinguished textile activity that was performed in our facilities. EKOREC industrial know-how on recycling and PET transformation is powered in 2021 through the merge operation with its mother company BASCOTECNIA (EPC engineering group created in 1976). The resulting industrial group is a unique example of integrated circular economy adding recycling activities with PET transformation and engineering consultancy.

EKOREC is part of PETCORE, the European association and the voice in Brussels of companies & member associations involved in the PET value chain. As member of FUNCTIONAL BARRIER working work EKOREC is involved on the submission to the European Commission of all the requested reports according to Regulation (EU) 2022/1616.

PET EVOH high barrier sheets are added to our portfolio.

More than 2.000TN of recycled PET sheets are sold to European countries, consolidating export activity.

Our Recycling plant starts its external sales business under EKOPET brand.
